SUPERVISOR: Building Principal

Job Description:Exceptional leader will assist the building principal in the coordination and operation of the schools student services to ensure a successful and safe operation. The position will oversee schools PBIS efforts and support the builldings Conscious Discipline Tier III interventions CHAMPS studentdiscipline attendance.
Certification Required: The staff member must hold a valid license with proper endorsements for the area of assignment as set by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission and with those exceptions as noted by TSPC.
Salary Range: $50597to $99931 Depending on experience and education.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
With current administration manage the daytoday student discipline functions of the middle school.
Assist in schoolwide supervision of breakfast lunch and afterschool duties.
Assist with transportation problems.
Act as Building PBIS Coordinator.
Assist in sitebased staff development including Conscious Discipline and Trauma Informed Practices.
Work with instructional teams and parents on individual and group discipline plans.
Assist in followup actions regarding attendance and truancy issues.
Supervise the reporting and monitoring of student attendance.
Administrate and/or supervise events and concerts.
Assist in the facilitation of the implementation of curriculum instruction and assessment programs that ensure compliance with board priorities district educational goals and state standards.
Assist the building supervisor with meeting student achievement goals and staff development goals.
Assist the building supervisor with monitoring student achievement and behavior data.
Cultivate and model a respectful working and learning environment.
Ensure effective communication between the building supervisor administration the building administrative team staff students parents and community members.
Other related duties as assigned including IEP and 504 meetings as needed.
