Job Description
Our client based in Kenilworth is currently looking for an Accounting Senior/Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising a monthly accounting department including preparation and review of monthly management of accounts timely submissions of statutory returns and assisting clients with accounting and software support.
- Preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements using IFRS for SMEs
- Dealing with clients and correspondence
- Managing and training junior staff and SAIPA trainees
Requirements:
- Complete SAICA or SAIPA articles
- Company and individual tax knowledge essential
- Previous experience in a similar role and environment
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Own transport and valid SA licence
Software skills:
- Pastel Partner and Sage One
- Xero
- CaseWare
- Highly computer literate in Outlook word and excel
