The Role
Were looking for a sharp selfmotivated problemsolving Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.
As an Infrastructure Engineer youll work with a small team of Infrastructure Engineers to build solutions in AWS that help keep CompanyCams web and mobile applications humming. Youll get a chance to collaborate with product engineers to help deploy the next great idea and improve our existing infrastructure to make it more reliable resilient and secure.
Infrastructure Engineers at CompanyCam not only help guide solutions and implementation strategies they are a resource for sharing knowledge about the cloud environment.

- Strong knowledge of AWS including its networking relational database management and cloud storage services.
- Experience deploying containerized applications and working with Github Actions and Terraform.
- Capable of scripting in bash ruby and/or python.
- Able to break down a complex task and document its solution
- Understands how to analyze an existing system to identify improvements
- Be technically savvy and hungry to learn.
- Reside permanently and currently somewhere in the U.S. Alas were not set up to hire outside of the U.S.
Nicetohaves
Day to day youll spend most of your time designing improving and deploying infrastructure services to AWS. Youll be able to have even more impact if you have expertise in one or more of the following:
- Datadog Grafana OpenTelemetry
- AWS Fargate OpenSearch or PostgreSQL
- Designing systems for security and high availability
- Generative AI tools for enhancing infrastructure systems
- Producing and presenting educational content of technical concepts

Our team actively collaborates with these product teams while ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of our production systems. We share weekly updates to track goals and maintain alignment while giving you the flexibility to manage your work in the way that works best for you.
Meetings are purposeful and few. We champion a healthy work environment where you can focus on quality work during your 8hour day and then log off. Nights and weekends are for you not for work.
Benefits & Compensation
This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting salary range is $125000 $145000 per year and is based on experience. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
