Job Description

Kenny Kent Chevrolet Seeking Quick Lube Tech
We are looking for aQuick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will perform routine oil change and lubrication services as assigned.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm Saturday 8:00 am 1:00 pm every other weekend.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work including oil changes filter changes lubrication as outlined on service ticket with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacture standards.
  • Inspect and report any needed maintenance or replacements including air filters.
  • Check fluid levels fill if necessary.
  • Perform Multi Point Vehicle Inspection
  • Fill out a follow up sticker and adhere it to the windshield.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Document work performed.
  • Quality check work performed.
  • Attend training classes
  • Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
  • Ensure that customers vehicles are kept clean
  • Understand and follow federal state and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of waste.
  • Work and communicate effectively with coworkers and management and be a Team Player.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge skill and/or ability required.   • Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
  • Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
  • Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
  • One year in a service department
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
