Job Description
Position: Accounting Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week nonexempt
Pay: $23$30/hourly depending on experience
Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) is a nonprofit organization. FCSNs mission is to help individuals with special needs and their families find love hope respect and support through integrated community involvement. The finance & administration department is seeking a full time accounting assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daytoday financial transactions and completion of posting processes.
- Input and maintain all AP/AR data in Quickbooks
- Process invoices and payments ensuring approval with support documentation
- Record balance and deposit all receipts
- Provide support to the finance & administration team
- Complete special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- A.A. or B.A degree with emphasis in business finance or accounting
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Must be organized detail oriented and able to multitask.
