Are you ready to take your procurement skills to the next level Were looking for a dynamic Commodity Buyer IAM to join our team and drive our sourcing strategies to new heights. If youre passionate about achieving the best costs improving supplier relationships and ensuring topnotch quality and delivery this role is for you!
What Youll Do:
- Shape Procurement Strategy: Define and implement both shortterm and longterm procurement strategies that align with customer needs and specifications.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with engineering customer teams and regional procurement to identify and integrate new technologies and suppliers into our commodity strategy.
- Lead and Resolve: Head crossfunctional global teams to meet objectives and tackle critical quality and delivery issues with suppliers taking full ownership of supplier performance.
- Drive Cost Reduction: Develop strategies to achieve a 2 yearoveryear cost reduction through savvy negotiations resourcing and value engineering.
Supplier Panel Strategy:
- Expand and Centralize: Identify and develop new suppliers across all commodities focusing on casting and machining and centralize spending with strategic suppliers.
- Ensure Healthiness: Maintain the health and financial stability of our supplier panel negotiating the best commercial conditions for price capacity delivery and quality.
Support and Develop:
- New Product Launches: Support the NPI team in launching new products with a robust panel of healthy suppliers in each region.
- Achieve Business Goals: Collaborate with crossfunctional partners to develop and implement plans that meet annual goals including supplier strategy cost reduction leadtime reductions and quality improvements
What We Need:
- Experience:23 years experience in similar role/similar industry
- Education:Bachelors degree in Engineering. or Economics
- Language Skills:Advanced English proficiency.
