A partner hospital in Omaha NE is seeking a fulltime Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with experience in emergency or overnight care offering afterhours urgent care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. The ideal candidate will be passionate about urgent care medicine and have strong clinical skills to support a variety of cases in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care and emergency services to canine and feline patients
- Perform diagnostic tests procedures and administer treatments including medications and fluids
- Consult with clients about their pets health conditions and treatments
- Manage a varying caseload including common urgent care cases like wound management ear infections vomiting/diarrhea and euthanasia
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using a cloudbased EMR system
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in Nebraska (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience in emergency and/or overnight care preferred
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to make informed quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the clinical team
