Core Functions
Operates machines to ensure continuous production at a constant rate of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials throughout the entire shift and performing basic adjustments to ensure safe and efficient production of products
Perform inprocess inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance
Responsible for producing parts in the proper quantity as identified by the production schedule
Perform necessary preoperation activities to ensure proper equipment startup
Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately according to specifications and in a timely fashion
Perform operational procedures to ensure the quality of the product packaged
Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety quality production efficiency and service requirements
Ensure daily production report data is reported correctly and up to date
Recognize defective materials for color surface blemishes finish and dimensions
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma GED or equivalent experience is required
Associates degree or equivalent from twoyear college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education training and experience preferred
Prior experience operating manufacturing packaging and process control equipment preferred
Physical Requirements
This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
