A leading industrial operation specializing in underground material transport and processing is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to support its high-demand mining activities. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience operating haul trucks and other heavy equipment in rugged environments preferably underground and brings a strong commitment to safety mechanical aptitude and reliability.
What you will be doing:

Operate heavy equipment (haul trucks loaders skid steers articulated trucks) in an underground mining environment

Load haul and unload salt and other materials safely and efficiently
-
Perform basic maintenance tasks on conveyors crushers screens and mobile equipment
-
Assist the maintenance team with repairs as needed
-
Maintain clean and safe work areas through routine housekeeping
-
Complete documentation accurately and on time
-
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure safety and production goals are met
-
Uphold all safety procedures and MSHA regulations
Experience you will need:
-
2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in industrial or mining environments

Preferred familiarity with underground operations and equipment such as haul trucks loaders and skid steers
-
High school diploma or GED preferred

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions underground
-
Strong attention to safety and mechanical problem-solving
-
Must pass a physical and drug screening
-
Must be able to work full-time and comply with all PPE requirements
