We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a background in largescale catering or highvolume food operations to help lead and enhance site catering.
Reporting to a peoplefocused Executive Chef you will assist in overseeing kitchen operations manage personnel and ensure the seamless production and delivery of highquality food services.

The Opportunity:
As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for:
- Working alongside the kitchen team across outlets and events
- Leading and training all kitchen colleagues on menu and techniques and HACCP
- Ensuring adherence to food hygiene practices and health & safety regulations for yourself and the team
- Monitoring portion size and waste to maintain profitability
- Ordering stock and maintaining par levels
- Assisting in menu planning implementation and
- Controlling food and wage costs ensuring they come in on budget
- Assisting in special event planning and eg: BBQs Christmas New Years functions
- Assisting in changing menus for the benefit of regular return guests
- Menu costing experience
- Supporting the team with events and functions
Qualifications :
About you
Qualifications and Experience:
- You have a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in all section preferable including banquets buffet and al la carte
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with great attention to detail
- Vibrant personality professional and always wellpresented
- A positive can do attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
- Outstanding Communication Skills (written & oral)
- Must hold full Australian work rights
