Mental Health Professional Community Professional


people Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Professional to complete comprehensive evaluations/diagnostic assessments referrals for additional mental health and/or substance use services and assist with navigating community resources. The Mental Health Professional provides community based services provides consultation and partner with community liaisons in addition to promoting healthy lifestyles facilitating meetings clear and timely documentation delivering and developing individualized plan of care consistent with client identified goals and needs.


This position provides an array of services using evidencebased practices that support client recovery and facilitate safe secure and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include developing therapeutic alliances conducting diagnostic and comprehensive assessments individualized treatment planning and daily interventions. Communicates professionally through ones documentation and interactions with internal and external stakeholders. May provide clinical supervision organizationally for those working towards clinical licensure.


Hours: FullTime Monday Friday Business Hours


Location: Services are provided in the community

Hiring Range: Salary variable on licensure and qualifications.

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional: $74000 $80000 annually plus $2000 hiring bonus for external candidates.
  • Unlicensed Clinical Trainee: $60000 $65779 annually plus $1000 hiring bonus for external candidates.

Main Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of client mental health services ensuring documentation standards are met and addressing emergency situations as needed while demonstrating sound decisionmaking discretion and problemsolving skills at all times.
  • Completion of Comprehensive Evaluations/Diagnostic Assessments provide case management and community resource/referral.
  • Provide client support and intervention through involvement in community partnerships.
  • Educate individuals in crisis and families within the context of the clinical assessment.
  • Actively participate in the mental health services providing leadership sharing of clinical expertise with other team members and advancing the reputation of services provided.
  • Act as an advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
  • Providing one to one support and skills training individualized interventions and crisis management using a client centered approach.
  • Participates in team meetings and processes for communication concerning clients. Participates in clinical supervision team meetings as required providing team with thorough timely legible accurate and objective information.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of community educational housing and other resources available to support community members of all ages.
  • Actively participate in the mental health services providing leadership sharing of clinical expertise with other team members and advancing the reputation of services provided.
Requirements

Required Qualifications: Unlicensed Clinical Trainee:

  • Masters Degree in a behavior science or related field
  • Two years of fulltime experience working with people with serious and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders
  • Working toward clinical licensure by obtaining required clinical supervision hours and client contact hours outlined by the appropriate licensing board.

Required Qualifications: Licensed Mental Health Professional:

  • Masters Degree in the behavioral sciences
  • Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP LPCC LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions.
    • o OR proof of current clinical licensure as described above within 60 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strongly prefer current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP LPCC LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions
  • Minimum of 1 year of postlicensure experience in providing services to individuals with cooccurring disorders (MH/CD).
  • Minimum of six months prior supervisory experience within a notforprofit environment.
  • Prior mental health experience.
