Job Description

2025 Varsity Girls Soccer Coach Proctor High SchoolProctor High School is seeking applicants to fill our Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coaching vacancy for the 2025/2026 school year. Looking for candidates that will demonstrate an energy and passion for athletics and working with studentathletes strong organizational management and interpersonal skills and knowledge of sport. Our goal is to have coaches who work to provide an educational environment fostering the attributes of individual improvement fair play sportsmanship teamwork and school spirit in pursuit of a common goal through safe and challenging practices while preparing and leading studentathletes in competition. Applicants must be able to develop a solid rapport with studentathletes work cooperatively with the athletic program provide positive leadership and model/teach/uphold the ideals of good sportsmanship.It is the intent of PrHS to establish longterm commitments from all Varsity coaches allowing the successful candidate(s) to build and develop strong feeder programs & a relationship within the Proctor Community. Applicationscreening process will begin immediately and continue until positions are filled. We encourage candidates to promote their specialization area of interest and coaching philosophy in his or her application.Qualifications: Strong knowledge of coaching principles and technical aspects of sport is required. Prior Coaching experience is required for any Varsity coaching position. Afterschool availability some weekends required. Criminal Background Check required. Must meet certifications and training requirements of the Vermont Principals Association (VPA): Concussion in Sports before season starts (NFHS) CPR/AED before season starts (GRCSU Athletic Trainer will provide a training) Implicit Bias Training Course before season starts (NFHS) Sports First Aid within one year of hire (NFHS) Fundamentals in Coaching within one year of hire (NFHS)
