Job Description

As we continue to grow our business and enhance our service offerings locally we are eagerly seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Moncton office. Located at 555 Mapleton Avenue this new office space provides a bright vibrant highly functional technologically advanced and collaborative working environment for our team.
Not only will you be given an opportunity to help bring local infrastructure projects to life; but you will also have a chance if desired to collaborate with EXP team members across North America on some very large and challenging infrastructure projects in other jurisdictions!
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Contribute to the overall planning design and construction of a wide range of municipal and transportation infrastructure projects by:
- Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and transportation projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D;
- Preparing plan profile grading surface design for water storm and wastewater piping and roadways design from concept to final;
- Generating material quantities and cost estimates;
- Preparing presentation graphics and report figures;
- Ensuring that the projects needs are met in a timely and effective manner;
- Understanding and adhering to EXP and client standards; and
- Completing onsite inspections of civil projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent);
- Relevant experience in the design and construction of municipal and transportation infrastructure (i.e. water sanitary sewer stormwater roads etc.;
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D MS Word MS Excel and Autoturn; and
- Strong work ethic and communication skills.
