Job Description:
1. Analyze requirements produce accurate unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail.
2. Create compelling visuals using charts graphs and diagrams to represent data accurately and efficiently.
3. Collaborate with business analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
4. Gauge the target audiences preferences and see how well they interact with EIs offerings/products to develop targeted strategies to build useful dashboards to boost overall customer experience and satisfaction.
5. Design clutter free dashboards with a specific goal to engage the user with deep actionable insights.
6. Develop interactive dashboards and reports that allow users to explore the data on their own.
7. Build dashboards with builtin recommendations for action that helps the user to understand what to do next with their business priorities & strategy.
8. Build dashboards that have a design that works with the intended user by including data points and feature visuals that are relevant to the users data knowledge and business goals.
9. Build easytouse dashboards allowing the user to view data whenever they need it and edit it to adapt to changing strategies.
10. Continually refine and improve visualizations based on stakeholder feedback and changing business requirements.
11. Develop customized solutions plugins and script to meet customer requirement.
12. Stay uptodate with the latest trends in data visualization and incorporate them into designs.
13. Communicate complex data insights to nontechnical stakeholders using clear and compelling visuals.
14. Work with the data team to ensure data accuracy and completeness
15. Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security.
16. Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint including unit tests functional testing code reviews no regressions bug fixes documentation and adhere to best coding practices.
17. Perform peer code reviews in order to ensure quality standards
18. Master the domain knowledge in the area of assignment
19. Take ownership of what the team builds after the release; consider customer adoption as success criteria
20. Volunteer for work in the backlog and commit to quality delivery; Coordinate efforts across the team to ensure completion and effectiveness.
21. Participate and contribute to scrum meetings i.e. daily standup sprint planning readouts and retrospectives
22. Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals
23. Understand fundamentals of iterative product development.
24. Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by the development team.
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
1. 3 years of experience working in data visualization or a related field.
2. Proficiency in data analysis design and data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI Excel or others.
3. Familiarity with coding languages such as Python or R.
4. Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
5. Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design. Advanced knowledge of database structure and theory. 6. Ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries in various SQL and NoSQL databases.
7. Very comfortable using GIT version control tool (we use Bit bucket)
