Job Description
RPO Recruitments client is looking for a Food Technologist to join their team in Randburg Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have experience in product development particularly in spice blends and batch packs for the food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine spice blends and batch packs for various food products.
- Create ingredient listings in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct product costing and ensure alignment with labeling legislation.
- Perform sensory evaluations to assess product quality.
- Assist in investigating customer complaints and implementing solutions.
- Draft product specifications for new developments.
Requirements:
- N.D. or B.Tech. in Food Technology.
- Experience in product development specifically in spice formulations.
- Strong knowledge of labeling legislation and ingredient regulations.
- Excellent strategic thinking problemsolving and communication skills.
- Technical proficiency in food science and product formulation.
