Job Summary
Ingersoll Rand Global Engineering IT team is seeking a PLM System Administrator to support sustenance and maintenance support across Ingersoll Rand. The candidate work collaboratively with fellow System Administrators located in India & USA.
Responsibilities
Installation configuration and support of Windchill environments
Rehosting (Cloning) Windchill environments.
Supports daily operations including monitoring alerting troubleshooting capacity management provisioning hardware and software configuration patching upgrades and performance monitoring/tuning Administers multiple systems including regular afterhour & weekend supports and 24x7x365 in a 99.999 uptime environment.
Manage lifecycles workflows queues security roles templates etc. within the Windchill environment.
Troubleshoots and resolves system problems incidents/requests ensure SLA adherence
Works proactively to identify root cause and recommends/ implements preventative solutions.
Adheres to global IT standards policies and procedures and coordinate related activities with global IT teams.
Work with vendor to troubleshoot issues and implement patches when necessary.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer science (preferred) /Information Technology /Mechanical or Any stream / Master in Computer Applications
57 years experience in administrating Windchill PLM systems.
Recent PLM administration responsibilities in a global design and manufacturing environment
Experience in PTC Windchill administration cluster configuration rehosting and analyzing performance issues.
Experience working in Linux environment Linux commands and shell scripting.
