Summary of Duties: Support New Product Introduction (NPI) Teams as a Purchasing Specialist; to plan develop and launch new product platforms and upgrades to the Ultrasound portfolio. Execute the complex buying strategies to directly purchase engineering prototype and preproduction materials supplies equipment and services in support NPI milestones. Resolve complex delivery quality and communication challenges with existing and new vendors to meet programmatic timelines. Prepare requests for quotes and assist in the qualification and development of new supply sources working alongside Strategic Procurement and Engineering team members. Analyze and optimize the organizations processes to enhance performance. Establish monitor update and benchmark metrics and derive and propose measures to improve. Provide analyses as required by Supply Chain Management. Initiate and implement supplier improvement programs. Cooperate with the internal Procurement Controlling and Logistics functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to SC processes guidelines and tools. Communicate with external auditors in accordance with the superior. Contribute to strategic business projects work groups and the training of new employees in the area of expertise. Remote work permitted. 20 Domestic and International Travel Required.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting Management Business Administration or a related field and Five 5 years in the job offered as a Demand Planner Project Manager or an acceptable alternate occupation. The business will accept alternate education of Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting Management Business Administration or a related field and Three 3 years experience years in the job offered as a Demand Planner Project Manager or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience with the following: managing vendors SAP experience; knowledge of supply chain management; experience with R&D understanding of material costs; experience analyzing and developing the elements of Procurement and/or Logistics processes to achieve and implement highly efficient Procurement/Logistics standards within assigned organization unit(s); experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings; experience communicating requirements to vendor and internal stakeholders; experience identifying and analyzing internal customer needs.
