Location: Edinburgh

Computershare are currently looking to recruit a QA Engineer to join Global Development Engineering within Computershare Technology Services.

A role you will love
As our QA Engineer you will be responsible for undertaking functional SaaS Platform testing to ensure that the level of quality delivered aligns with the organisational risk appetite through test analysis design implementation and in line with agreed plans and strategies.
Some key responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of Test Analysis Design Implementation & activities to assess functional suitability of software delivered.
- Gaining feedback in order to clarify/understand requirements and to draw out implied requirements.
- Perform and apply risk analysis to assess likelihood and impact of software failure to define the optimum breadth and depth of test coverage.
- Use formal test design techniques to translate requirements into clearly defined prioritised test cases.
- Ensure clear traceability between requirements/acceptance criteria and test cases.
What will you bring to the role
If you are from a QA background and wish to learn about SaaS platform testing then this could be the role for you. Other transferable skills will also be considered.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Programming skills
- Experience testing SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Experience with webbased application testing.
- Experience with integration testing between applications.
- ISTQB Foundation Certified Tester.
