The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Editor the Motion Graphic Designer/Editor is responsible for producing designing animating and editing of highquality content across QVCs MultiChannel platforms. They must be able to work autonomously from concept to completion. Perform duties according to company procedure along with supporting highlevel initiatives across teams as needed. Supports team and department efforts to align with our companywide goal of improving the customer experience.

Your Impact

• Conceptualize engaging animation and design content through event support for live programming secondary channel and customer facing digital/mobile platforms.

• Create and deliver seasonal campaign packages as well as static & premiere shows core 24 Hour Event programming corporate communication and special event design and animation needs.

• Supply assets for edit in addition to Graphic Promo creation.

• Support Global Content across all Markets through sharing animations as well as tool kits and project templates.

• Build rich highly technical product animations strategically aligned with our vendors to ensure a highly informative component is available to support the live sell. This animation should be brandright as well as cutting edge regarding detail and any innovative presentation technique to maximize key selling points to drive TSV Sales.

• Work with Category Producers ecommerce and other business stakeholders to understand key selling points product features or other financial drivers that must be considered during the project.

• Demonstrate ownership of professional/technical growth in Motion Graphics and Rendering as well as new trending animation techniques to ensure our relevancy in the marketplace among our retail competitors.

• Embraces new mediums for Brand Messaging promotion of New Brands and Special Event Programming. Supports new platforms with VOD Poster Art or other visual representing our programming.

What You Bring

• Education: 4year bachelors degree in graphic design motion graphics or related field is necessary.

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a related field required.

• Proficient in theAdobe Creative Suit After Effects and industry preferred plug ins which could include knowledge of: Twixtor. Reel Smart Motion Blur TrapCode Sapphire Magic Bullet Video CoPilot suites Premiere Illustrator Photoshop and Bridge

• Knowledge of the following is a plus: Maya Cinema4D (Functional knowledge of both expected after hire) compositing techniques (ZDepth Render Passes Compositing Tags Advanced rendering knowledge (Mental Ray VRAY) 3D modeling

• Functional knowledge/expectation to learn our MAM (Media Asset Management System) for placeholder creation asset delivery and metadata association.
