Assist teachers to provide for the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting. Assist in implementation of classroom programs including selfhelp behavior management and instruction programs. Work under the general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of the certified teacher.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties assigned are related to the functions of the position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or high school equivalent. Completed two 2 years of study at an institution of higher education 48 college credit hours with required courses); or received an associates degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher learning; or a minimum score of 450 on the ETS Parapro Exam.

TECHNOLOGICAL ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be proficient in the widespread use of a computer the use of email as a form of communication and other jobspecific equipment software and/or applications.
