Sr Software Development Engineer
We at AMD Pensando are looking for a software developer for the role of Software Development Engineer. You will be working on SDN solutions for our industry leading portfolio of network infrastructure accelerators. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies with ample scope to innovate.
Responsibilities
- Develop SDN solutions/features using our industry leading smart NIC/DPU.
- Develop and maintain Software Development Kit delivered to customers.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm solutions and participate in peer code reviews.
- Take care of endtoend test automation for features developed.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3 years of software development experience in any of the networking storage embedded or systems programming domains.
- Experience in any of the following technologies: Software Datapath (DPDK VPP) P4 programming Overlay networks SDN controllers Firewalls Platform software GRPC High Availability Hitless software upgrade/ISSU.
- Hands on programming experience in any of C C Golang.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts. Experience with one or more of Cloud Security Datacenter networking is preferred.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
