Job Description
This is a Fixed Term 6 month contract
Join one of Australias largest design teams as a Design Operations Principal led by our Head of Design Operations.
The role has the responsibility of taking a lead role in Design Operations with a focus on Research Ops & Service Design frameworks processes and measures that enables NABs design team to be highly engaged efficient and supported so they can create consistent quality designs to drive organisational success.
You will be in a key role delivering on NABs strategic ambition of improving our customer and banker experience by achieving these goals:

- Risk Lead on and deliver on strong risk and control outcomes
In the Design Operations Principal role you will
- Mature research operations across the design team and the broader NAB ecosystem
- Improve the maturity of service design methods and processes across our design team
- Establish and embed consistent Experience Design framework for NAB to improve quality and impact of design outputs with a focus on Service Design
- Set the roadmap and approach to uplift Design maturity developing capability program and community of practice focussing on Service Design and Research
- Input into design strategies planning and .
- Recommend and deliver tools and frameworks required for Design.
- Drive Design team cadences to drive efficiencies collaboration and outcomes.
What youll bring
- Strong handson experience in research and service design and a passion to uplift the capability and understanding across a broad set of stakeholders and designers
- Mature level of analytical capability.
- Strong level of communication and relationship management.
- Confident in prioritisation of multiple requirements.
- Lead on and deliver on strong risk and control outcomes.
- Demonstrates efficiency and resilience.
- Understanding of the financial services sector.
