Job Description

Job Title: Instructional Facilitator (Grades 712)Job Summary:The Instructional Facilitator supports the academic success of students in grades 712 by coordinating intervention services facilitating professional development and collaborating with teachers administrators and support staff. This position plays a critical role in analyzing student data guiding instructional practices and ensuring compliance with state and district initiatives to improve student outcomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Instructional and Intervention Support:Coordinate Tier 3 scheduling to ensure targeted intervention for students in need.Administer and analyze results from dyslexia screenings and math screeners to inform instructional decisions.Oversee WIN (What I Need) interventions weekly Collaborative Team Meetings (CTMs) and the Guiding Coalition to promote datadriven instruction.Lead Student Intervention Team (SIT) meetings including conducting and evaluating student progress to determine next steps.Data Analysis and Compliance:Analyze student performance data to identify trends and recommend evidencebased instructional strategies.Work with building administrators and teachers to implement researchbased curriculum supports.Assist in state testing coordination including test administration compliance and support for students and staff.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:Facilitate parent meetings to discuss student progress intervention plans and instructional supports.Serve as a liaison for Special Education support ensuring collaboration between general and special education teachers.Work with local cooperative organizations to align resources and professional learning opportunities with district needs.Support paraprofessionals through coaching training and resource development.Professional Development and Instructional Coaching:Conduct Classroom Walkthroughs (CWTs) to observe instruction provide feedback and support effective teaching practices.Develop and deliver professional development sessions aligned with school and district goals.Research and recommend curriculum materials and best practices to enhance student learning.Qualifications:Valid teaching license and relevant endorsements (as required by the state/district).Masters degree in education curriculum & instruction or a related field preferred.Experience in instructional coaching intervention planning or leadership roles in secondary education.Strong data analysis skills with the ability to apply findings to instructional decisions.Knowledge of MTSS RTI Special Education and best practices for intervention and differentiation.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers administrators and families.Working Conditions:Schoolbased position with frequent collaboration across grade levels and departments.Occasional evening meetings or professional development sessions.
