Location: Houston TX / Odessa TX / Abilene TX
Type:Full time In Office
General Information/Job Summary
Provide mechanical engineering support to assigned projects to ensure the development of effective designs drawings and documentation to achieve client/owner requirements as part of a multidisciplinary engineering and project team.
Responsibilities/Competencies
- Work with Lead Civil Designer on assignments/project
- Understands/reads maps grading plans & surveys
- Familiar with structural members and steel fabrication
- Familiar with foundation plans and details
- Communicates/Interfaces with other disciplines (Piping /Mechanical & I&E)
- Works with minimal supervision
Requirements
- 7 years civil design experience
- Ability to work in office setting 5 days a week
- Substation & Renewable energy background a plus
- Proficient with AutoCAD CADWorx NavisWorks in the 3D model design of projects and ability to layout & design from P&IDs/plot plan.
- Experience in both pipe and civil design is a plus
