Job Description:
This position involves performing routine security duties while also demonstrating the flexibility to address and resolve emerging challenges. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in assisting visitors and employees by providing necessary guidance and ensuring a secure environment on the premises. You will serve as a representative of the Security Department interacting regularly with staff visitors and external emergency services. A key responsibility is the protection of classified information while also maintaining the safety and wellbeing of all personnel and visitors on site. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed making this a dynamic and varied role.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Monitor and secure assigned posts to ensure the safety of employees and visitors as well as compliance with Department of Defense (DOD) regulations regarding classified information protection.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Security Guard.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to effectively communicate observations both verbally and in writing.
