SUMMARY:
Work under minimal supervision to assist children and others to safely cross the street at assigned intersections during designated hours.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assist students and parents in crossing the street
- Report any areas of concern to the campus
- Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor
- Utilize effective communication skills; ensure that all interactions are supportive courteous and

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
SPECIAL KNOWLEGDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of pedestrian safety rules and vehicular laws
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read understand and follow written instructions
- Ability to identify and respond quickly to traffic safety hazards
