General Accountant POZNA
Role overview
The General Accountant is the gatekeeper of financial results to local entity. Ensure quality and timely delivery for Carlsberg Shared Services accounting providing financial transparency across the organization. The main responsibilities of are monthend closing processes tax and statutory reporting and supporting in financial planning in agreed timelines.
What youll be doing
- support in assuring correct transactional data in SAP (check data identify problems conduct process improvement to overcome root causes);
- conducting financial reporting to the Group;
- cooperating with the Management Team;
- working closely with various stakeholders across Carlsberg Group to ensure quality delivery of services;
- conducting Statutory reporting and preparing polish financial statement;
- ensuring compliance of local activities: cooperation with external institutions (US Central Statistical Office National Bank of Poland)
- playing key role in audit;
- playing a key role in the monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes;
- active participation in continuous improvement initiatives new technology rollouts and process design activities;
- participation in financial planning process;
- managing the teams collective knowledge through preparing and updating process documentation and tracking progress of taxrelevant projects and initiatives;
- balance Sheet reconciliation improvement and analysis.
What were looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- has worked in Finance before with a strong preference for candidates with experience in shared services / business process outsourcing and educational background in corporate finance;
- has 3 years of operational experience in Finance and/or Accounting;
- has experience in IFRS and Polish GAAP environment;
- has worked in and enjoys working in a diverse international environment;
- presents strong knowledge of projects or process management methods
- has fully understanding and knowledge of financial processes;
- understanding of tax and polish statutory requirements
- demonstrates natural communication skills and customeroriented attitude;
- has an excellent command of written and spoken English;
- navigates easily in Office365 environment and has an advanced handson knowledge of MS Excel;
- has previously worked with SAP Blackline and HFM.
