Division: River Metals Recycling LLC
Location: Glasgow KY United States
Other Available Locations: Kentucky
Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Weigh and purchase inbound s obtaining required information from customers for all transactions. Complete purchasing and shipping documents.
- Control traffic patterns in yard.
- Perform general office administration duties.
- Serve as a backup cashier greeter and possibly other positions as needed.
- Willing to crosstrain in other positions and assist other teammates as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fastpaced nonstop environment while providing excellent customer service.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities while providing a high level of support in a fastpaced environment.
- Must have excellent customer service written and verbal communications organizational and time management skills.
- Must have the willingness to go the extra mile learning the s metal recycling industry.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions work independently and multitask.
- Computer experience including Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to learn in house systems.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Flexible to work overtime in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.
