You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailManagement Analyst 4 primary responsibilities for supervision and/or technical consultation; conducts or supervises analysis of the most difficult complex sensitive visible and specialist applications systems or programs; plans designs organizes directs and evaluates management analysis function/staff.
Provides technical consultation for all levels of management/users for the specialized applications used by DCS. This includes applications for reporting; completes correction requests as needed; audits data entry; facilitates data correction; and provides feedback to users to prevent errors in data entry; provides technical consultation on system process vs business process.
Creates or collaborates in creation and maintains business reports using specialized business intelligence tools. This includes regularly delivered end user reports including: scorecards huddle boards accountability slide decks and reports that are delivered for a specific need and/or one time need.
Develops materials and/or provides tangible support that increases proficiency of Program Specialists and other leaders/employees in areas that impact data quality and integrity and/or are related to data analysis and/or problem solving to meet business performance and process standards and/or increase the capacity of field operations to meet business needs.
Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
Knowledge of:
State and Agency policies and procedures with particular emphasis in Guardian
Sound management principles
Principles and techniques of automated information systems analysis
Computer programs including Microsoft and Excel
Research methods and reporting techniques used in administrative studies
Operational/programmatic structures .
Skill in:
Analyzing data and draw logical conclusions to determine effective solutions (i.e. data extraction and trend analysis)
Interpret complex interrelated data screen
Presentation on technical matters
Effective oral and written communication
Training management and line staff
Identifying trends
Interpreting system improvements/recommendations and analyze impact to system/programs
Technicalities of computer programs

Work independently and or collectively and adapt to changing environments and new technologies
Develop procedures to identify and correct exceptions and errors in data.
The ideal candidate will have an Undergraduate degree in social work or related field with experience in computer science and statistical analysis.
Three years experience in a state social services agency that includes training and administrative experience. Experience with agency programs and compliance with state and federal requirements.
Requires the possession of and ability to retain a current valid stateissued drivers license appropriate to the assignment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must be able to secure and maintain clearance from DCS Central Registry.
