DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Support the planning development characterization debug and deployment of system level and burnin equipment hardware used for functional and reliability testing of AMDs microprocessors and graphics devices.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in defining new system level test and burnin equipment hardware designs.
- Design develop and execute test plans on test hardware.
- Assist in deploying new hardware designs to internal customers and test facilities and provide debug support.
- Collect and analyze data from the utilization of test equipment hardware.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of modern computer architecture.
- Knowledge of lab test equipment: oscilloscopes logic analyzers and multimeters.
- General knowledge of circuit schematics and board layout.
- General knowledge of programming/scripting syntax.
- General knowledge of statistical data analysis.
- Microsoft standard apps (i.e. Office).
- Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Clear written and verbal communication and data presentation.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Working towards Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field of study.
