This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams and locations.

As the Principal HR Digital Transformation you will be a key driver in reshaping the HR employee experience at Blue Origin. You will collaborate with HR leaders company executives the HR Technology Team Enterprise Technology (ET) and endusers to innovate and optimize every aspect of our HR technology experience. Your role will involve defining shaping and executing HR transformation projects that integrate digital solutions automation and process optimization to enhance both business performance and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

HR Digital Transformation Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR transformation strategies that incorporate AI GenAI automation and product usability improvements.
  • Utilize analytics and usercentered design methodologies to assess current HR solutions and design futurestate technology models for HR.
  • Work with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to create HR transformation roadmaps that align with business strategy and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of HR technologies (e.g. HRIS AI tools) that fit company needs and business goals.

Influence HR direction Support COE Leaders:

  • Act as a senior expert and influencer for HR technology and innovation across HR domains.
  • Provide perspectives on how the HR strategy needs to evolve based on changes in the technology landscape.
  • Provide vision direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions.
  • Assist HR teams in assessing capabilities and identifying tech gaps and solutions.

Project Management and Process Optimization & Automation:

  • Lead initiatives to streamline HR processes using automation AI tools and data analytics.
  • Implement intelligent automation solutions to enhance process efficiency scalability and accuracy.
  • Lead endtoend delivery of HR transformation projects ensuring timely onbudget and highquality outcomes.
  • Integrate new technologies and capabilities into the existing HR environment.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Guide change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions to new HR processes and technologies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement ensuring alignment with key business leaders and fostering buyin and commitment at all levels of the organization.
  • Empower employees with the knowledge and tools needed to activate apply and sustain transformation initiatives longterm.

Employee Digital Experience Leadership:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance the employee experience through personalization engagement and alignment with company culture.
  • Use HR technology process improvement methodologies and data analytics to improve the employee experience at Blue reduce time spent on lowvalue HR tasks and build intuitive solutions that minimize the need for HR staff assistance.

HR Product Management:

  • Manage the approach to long term product strategy and roadmap maintenance for HRs suite of systems including Workday and Cornerstone.
  • Oversee the overall technical product management practice for HR Systems. Drive work into Agile teams based on product management vision.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HRIS systems across the organization.

Generative AI & Emerging Technologies:

  • Articulate how organizations should leverage AI GenAI and other advanced technologies to improve the HR function.
  • Stay uptodate on emerging digital HR trends and bring innovative solutions to the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in HR transformation digital HR or HR technology consulting.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading largescale HR transformation projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the High Tech Industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in and around HR platforms (e.g. Workday Cornerstone etc..
  • Ability to design employeecentric HR solutions that align with company culture and business objectives.
  • Expertise in managing complex projects from strategy to on time within budget and with quality.
  • Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management tools (e.g. Jira MS Project).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building trusted relationships with Csuite executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative HR solutions that leverage digital technologies.
  • Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contributions to industry thought leadership through writing speaking engagements and research.
  • Active participation in industry events to stay current on HR transformation trends.
  • Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven experience in product management with a strong focus on Workday or other HCM products.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies


Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $152484.00$213477.60
