Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an Aseembler to join our team. This person will contribute to the companys success by performing a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly operations on printed circuit boards subassemblies or end products. This role is responsible for performing hand soldering on electronic assemblies.
Essential Functions:
- Performs hand soldering on electronic assemblies
- Follows an engineered assembly process
- Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
- Train and mentor other assemblers when required
- Working in multifunctional teams
- Touch up and Rework of electronics boards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience 2 year postsecondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
- Experience in Assembly
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Mechanical background
- Harris product knowledge
- Microsoft Office programs experience
- IPC 7711 certification
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York State is $17.20$31.97.This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
