Peepul is an educationfocused nonprofit organisation committed to transforming Indias education system and enabling every child to reach their full potential. We work closely with national state and local governments to transform government schools and government systems. Currently we work with governments in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh to meaningfully have an impact across 325000 teachers and 9.75 million students across 100000 schools.

About the role
This is a highvisibility role that requires deep expertise in organizational transformation culturebuilding and people management to enhance leadership effectiveness and strengthen Peepuls organizational culture setting the stage for continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Strategic Leadership:
To build strong working relationships with all senior leaders within Peepul developing a deep understanding of the organisations mission and aligning its principles and practices across countries.
To work effectively with Peepuls board members ensuring regular and accurate reporting on organisational performance.
To provide strategic counsel to the Chief Executive Officer and other Directors on program management and overall organizational priorities
Organizational Culture & Transformation:
Lead the charge in cultural transformation working to build a highperformance valuesdriven culture that fosters accountability collaboration and growth.
Partner with senior leadership to identify and address culture gaps and leadership challenges implementing targeted initiatives to strengthen the organizations ability to manage change and growth.
Drive initiatives around leadership development supporting senior leaders in creating a culture of empowerment transparency and inclusive leadership.
Talent Strategy & Management:
Lead and oversee all HR functions including but not limited to talent acquisition compensation and benefits learning & development performance management and talent retention strategies.
Drive initiatives for employee engagement organizational development and diversity equity and inclusion. Leverage HR analytics to make datadriven decisions and continuously enhance the employee experience ensuring Peepul attracts develops and retains top talent.
Develop organisational processes and policies that are in line with best practices of the sector
Other tasks and responsibilities
Ensure efficient and effective service delivery across programs by developing systems that balance central operations with school autonomy driving costefficiency and fostering strong team collaboration.
At Peepul we seek talented professionals passionate about driving educational transformation and making a positive impact. We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications and meet the role requirements:
Educational Background: Masters degree in business administration Human Resources or related discipline.
Work Experience:810 years of experience in Human Resources ideally in the development sector or similarly dynamic environments. At least 2 years in a leadership role with handson experience managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to retention. Strong background in HR strategy development and with the ability to balance both strategic and operational leadership.
Other Skills: Exceptional problemsolving and prioritization abilities. Proven capacity to manage complex HR functions while supporting organizational goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and organizational tools (e.g. MS Teams Outlook OneDrive). Ability to foster collaboration and inspire highperforming teams.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Hindi is essential for this role.
