Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in C# programming and Visual Studio to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development lifecycles within an agile organization and possess excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand Requirements:
- Gather and analyze requirements to ensure a clear understanding of project goals.
- Translate requirements and user stories into efficient and effective designs.
- Prepare Test Plans:
- Develop comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the software.
- Ensure test plans are aligned with project requirements and objectives.
- Execute Test Cases:
- Perform various types of testing including unitary and integrated testing.
- Execute test cases for onboarding and upgrading different clients.
- Analyze Test Results:
- Analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Report defects to the development team for timely resolution.
- Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
- Ensure test scripts are effective and testable.
- Collaborate with Team Members:
- Work closely with other developers to understand and integrate their code.
- Seek information and help whenever required to ensure project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- C# Programming:
- Proven ability in C# programming language.
- Recent experience in C# development.
- Visual Studio:
- Proficiency in using Visual Studio for software development.
- Automation Tools:
- Experience with Selenium (WebDriver) Cucumber Specflow Postman RestAssured.
- Proficiency in TestNG or NUnit.
- Data Structures and Algorithms:
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Troubleshooting:
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.
- API Automation:
- Experience in API automation.
- Version Control:
- Proficiency in using Git for version control.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Computer Sciences Mathematics or related software engineering background.
- Experience in the financial industry.
- Curiosity about the functional part of the product with base knowledge about the finance industry.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
