Job Description

Special Education Paraprofessional Mittineague Elementary School (West Side Academy Elementary)Duties: Paraprofessional to work in a substantially separate classroom with students with special needs. Will work under the daily direction of a licensed Special Education Teacher and staff professionals including Speech and Language and BCBAs.Experienced in keeping performance data as well as administering tutoring and support services to students in a classroom setting small group setting or 11 setting. Must be skilled in supporting students in the acquisition of academic social and behavioral goals set by the special education team.Knowledge of reinforcement schedules and behavior management techniques. Should be adept at working in a collaborative model with teachers and specialists in order to provide a transdisciplinary instructional approach. Qualifications: Associates degree or Diploma with Workkeys or Parapro Salary: per Unit D contractual salary scale
