What Youll Do:

As theProject Engineering Leader youll be at the forefront of our innovation byleading a team of engineers that take technical ownership of the engineering projects from design to commissioning completion for our large Chemical Facility in Deer Park TX.

What Were Looking For:

  • Passionately lead mentor and manage a team of engineers and technical staff and foster a collaborative productive team environment while encouraging professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Individually coach and train on stage gate processes including risk assessments estimation contracting strategies auditing and project closure.
  • Prioritize and ensure process safety in engineering designs to comply internal and industry standards regulations and safety protocols in project planning and .
  • Directly plan scope and execute large complex projects while overseeing the of smaller engineering projects to ensure adherence to project plans budgets and timelines.
  • Understand and communicate the value of projects to the business leaders.
  • Lead reviews and approve engineering designs drawings and specifications while ensuring that all engineering design complies with industry standards and regulation.
  • Track and Communicate performance and progress of multiple projects.
  • Identify risks and oversee mitigation.
  • Influence internal stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of installation work.

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineer with a preference for Chemical Mechanical or Electrical.
  • 5 or more years experience project engineering in chemical manufacturing and processing facilities.
  • Experience managing individuals and teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple capital projects in industrial contexts.
  • Experience working with cross functional project team vendors construction contractors.
  • Proficiency with CAD software SAP Microsoft Office and documentation management.
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Professional Engineer (PE CEng) is plus
