Job Description
H&H is offering an exciting opportunity for an environmental planner to join either our New York City or Rye NY offices. The environmental planner will work together with teams to support the development of comprehensive plans zoning analyses and infrastructure decisions while addressing environmental social and economic effects. We specialize in evaluating the impacts of land use and infrastructure projects programs and government policies.

Responsibilities
- Prepare planning analyses including those associated with environmental review (e.g. NEPA SEQRA CEQR) climate action equity and Environmental Justice
- Collect and organize raw data which may include research interviews with government agencies map reviews field investigations
- Prepare graphics and reports
- Support traffic analyses
- Support public involvement activities
Requirements
- Masters degree in planning or related field
- Five years of experience in environmental planning or related field
- Knowledge of Federal and New York environmental policy including environmental review climate action and Environmental Justice
- Expertise in ecology endangered/threatened species cultural/historic resources and wetlands a plus
- Technical proficiency: MS Office ArcGIS Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. AutoCAD is a plus
- Strong writing and communication skills
Benefits
Salary range $95000$110000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
