Job Description
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Developing and directing software system validation and testing methods
- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis problem definition requirements solution development and proposed solutions
- Write welldesigned testable code
- Overseeing the development of documentation
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation flowcharts layouts diagrams charts code comments and clear code
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Working closely with clients and crossfunctional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming
- Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems
- Analyzing data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems
Requirements
- A bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or another related field
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- Ability to develop software in Java Ruby on Rails C or other programming languages
- Handson programming experience using relevant languages
- Application architecture and design patterns
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2 Hibernate)
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle from conception architecture definition detailed design scoping planning implementation testing to documentation delivery and maintenance is preferred
- Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF Wicket GWT Spring MVC)
- The ability to prioritize activities and deliver projects on time and within budget
- A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts
