This is an incredible opportunity to grow your career. Our parttime OD will be a part of a closeknit team where some of our employees have been with us for over ten years. We are a full scope optometry practice and we have an onsite lab to handle lenses in a quality and timely manner. We have an excellent team that prescreens patients using stateoftheart equipment with 30minute exam slots.
Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking an OD to round out our vision care team. Youll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide highquality vision care to our patients. The ideal OD candidate is dependable a team player and patientfocused.
Your regular duties will include but are not limited to:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
- Prescribe corrective lenses
- Provide pre and postoperative care to surgical patients
- Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
- Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis treatment plans and progress using EHR
- Handle eyecare emergencies
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D. degree
- Valid state license to practice optometry
Schedule
We are looking for someone to compliment our fulltime doctors hours and welcome applicants who are available any or all of the following days: Monday and every other Friday & Saturday.
*Compensation and Benefits
We reward our doctors with competitive salaries of $75/hr. (commensurate with experience) as well as a signing bonus of $2000 $8000.
