Patient Care Technician
Full Time Rotating Shift
Responsible for functioning as a technical assistant and practice partner with the registered nurse. Performs delegated nursing functions that are moderately complex patient care duties and carries out plans formulated by licensed or certified professional staff. Responsible for performing routine unit assignments and paraprofessional patient care duties such as taking vital signs performing electrocardiograms observing monitors and identifying deviation from normal conditions.
Qualifications:
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland is required or GNA if working in LongTerm care facility
- 6 monthsof experience as a PCT Patient Aide GNA or currenlty enrolled in a nursing program
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.
Salary Range: Minimum18.63per hour Maximum28.88per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
