We are seeking a Specimen Control and Receiving Tech LeadinCytology Support Services to:
- Receive specimens and research kits into the laboratory check for correct labeling enter tests into Laboratory Information System process specimens and load them onto instruments or direct to appropriate work station technologist or storage area.
- Be responsible for daily checklist duties which may include basic instrument maintenance and clerical duties.
- Participate in the training of laboratory staff.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Some postsecondary education in a healthcare or a related science field that may include course work in Medical Laboratory Technician Cytotechnologist Histotechnician or Medical Laboratory Scientist degree/certification Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year healthcare or laboratory related work experience Required
- 2 years of laboratory experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or other related certification Preferred
