Job Description
As a Firewall Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining firewall solutions to protect our clients critical infrastructure and data. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to assess security requirements develop firewall policies and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security indepth knowledge of firewall technologies and a proactive mindset to stay ahead of emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage firewall solutions to meet clients security requirements.
Perform regular firewall policy reviews and updates to ensure optimal network security.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess security risks and recommend solutions.
Troubleshoot firewallrelated issues and provide timely resolution.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging threats to proactively enhance firewall security measures.
Document firewall configurations policies and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
3 years of experience working as a Firewall Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g. Cisco ASA Palo Alto Check Point).
Handson experience with firewall implementation configuration and troubleshooting.
Industry certifications such as CCNA Security CCNP Security or equivalent are a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
