Position: Family Solicitor 2 PQE)
Location: Leicester
Salary:DOE
We are working with a leading law firm in Leicester that is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor with 2 years PQE to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled solicitor to handle a varied and privately funded caseload including divorce finances Children Act matters advocacy and Legal Aid work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Private Caseloads: Handle a broad range of family law matters including divorce financial settlements and Children Act issues while conducting advocacy in relevant cases.
- Legal Aid: Work on a mix of privately funded and Legal Aid matters ensuring a high level of service across the board.
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients ensuring excellent communication and client satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other fee earners and support the wider team in delivering legal excellence.
- Legislative Knowledge: Stay updated on all relevant Family Law legislation to provide expert advice and support.
- Case Management: Ensure all forms applications and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Marketing & Business Development: Participate in marketing initiatives including seminars workshops and pitches to help grow the firms family law presence.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 years PQE in Family Law with experience managing your own caseload.
- Confident in dealing with privately funded family matters including divorce and financial cases as well as some Legal Aid work.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to conduct advocacy.
- Driven with a passion for family law and a commitment to delivering highquality legal services.
