The Amazon Customer Fulfillment team is looking for passionate individuals who love to play a key role in the development of worldclass internal customerfacing interfaces and backend services that make them possible. You are a talented Software Development Engineer who knows how to get things done and done really well you like making customers lives better and want to be part of a team that builds from scratch a new technology platform for Customer still Day 1 and were at the beginning of building out an entire suite of global solutions. You and a team of developers will work through all phases of the project lifecycle including reviewing requirements designing services that lay foundation for the new technology platform build new interfaces and also integrate with existing architectures developing and testing code and delivering seamless implementations for our are looking for passionate Software Engineers who have experience building innovative applications that customers love. As a member of the team you will help with design implementation and launch of many key product features. You will have influence on defining product features drive operational excellence and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

About the team
GRT Development Team is a central team within RME and responsible for implementing projects that drive Product Program Reporting and Analytical initiatives. The team was created in Q2 2019 before which individual teams were segregated across multiple organizations. The team currently supports software development and technology infrastructure requirements for 11000 RME personnel across 900 network locations including North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Amazon Air (Air) and Amazon Logistics (AMZL). The team work in collaboration with GRT NA/EU product team and program team to develop both short and long term product strategies to deliver software applications and services that have a direct and measurable impact on the Global RME customers.


* 1 years of experience in software development
* Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
* Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java Python C or C# including objectoriented design
* A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
* Strong objectoriented design and coding skills (Python or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform)
* Solid software development background including design patterns data structures test driven development
* Knowledge of any scripting languages a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
* Software development experience in building highly scalable applications
* Experience with distributed (multitiered) systems algorithms and relational databases
* Experience in eCommerce and Deep handson technical expertise
* Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
* Experience working with service oriented architectures and web based solutions
