By allowing colleges to add new online courses taught by other institutions Rize provides nonprofit accredited colleges & universities with the fastest and most affordable way to add skillsbased majors & minors for college credit.
Results: Rize powers over 600 academic programs for 100 colleges in our network that are seeking innovative ways to grow enrollment and improve student outcomes.
Funding: raised Series B in 2024 from Thrive Founders Fund Flume Strada and other investors to pursue growth and product improvements.
The Head of Sales will be responsible for leading our acquisition of new partners including business development and sales. You will report to our VP of Revenue and lead a current team of 3 Account Executives and 1 Business Development Representative.
Management and Hiring: Lead our talented group of salespeople and business development professionals. Provide ongoing coaching for sales and business development team members. Grow the output of the current team and identify the hires needed to execute our revenue roadmap.
Sales Strategy: Implement a sales framework and strategy to hit growing targets for Rizes current products. Collaborate with the Product Development and Marketing team to identify new markets and products and develop the gotomarket sales plan.
Sales Enablement: Support sellers in closing new business. Collaborate with Marketing and assist the team with sales enablement including developing sales playbooks and tactics for the team.

8 years of sales experience with demonstrated excellence in sales and sales management.
Expertise in implementing an effective sales framework and developing sales enablement strategies to maximize the success of the sales team.
Datadriven and able to identify blockers and opportunities within the funnel.
Experience managing business development and opportunity generation goals.
Obsessed with building and optimizing a hightrust higheffort highperformance team.
Passionate and enthusiastic about Rizes mission.
Exhibits a high standard of personal accountability. You are a doer.
This position can be in person (office in Flatiron NYC) or remote.
Compensation will vary with experience but a rough range will be:
Salary: $150000 $200000
Commission: $100000 $150000
OnTarget Earnings: $250000 $350000
