The Process Improvement Specialist:
- Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects to identify and eliminate waste reduce process variation and improve overall quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address process inefficiencies.
- Develop and deliver training programs on Lean Six Sigma principles to colleagues at all levels.
- Utilize datadriven decisionmaking to monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Plan execute and oversee projects from inception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
- Develop project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation.
- Coordinate crossfunctional teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risk and issues.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Implement best practices standard work and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Monitor in process and outcome measures and report on progress towards improvement goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Empath Leaders.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration Business Engineering or a related field. 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in process improvement and project management preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
