70: Conduct Multilingual Communication Consultations
Facilitate and foster student learning by asking questions collaborating with students during consultations and teaching important writing and speaking strategies and concepts
Work with multilingual students who prefer to speak in their home language and may be working on writing in English or another language
Support students taking KU language courses which may include tutoring in grammar and vocabulary as well as writing skills in the language
Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and collaborative environment for learning
15: Provide Additional Writing Center Services
Lead writing workshops and assist with marketing events
Develop resources like handouts workshops and videos
Facilitate undergraduate or graduate programming as appropriate such as writing groups writeins or coaching
10: Participate in Professional Development
Participate in preservice training and ongoing education trainings and professional development
Participate in committees and special projects bringing your ideas interests and skills to expand the collective knowledge and abilities of the Wingspan

Work Schedule The Wingspan is located in Anschutz Library on the KU Lawrence campus and shifts are scheduled between 9 am7 pm MondayThursday 9 am5 pm Friday and 26 pm Sunday. The schedule is dependent on needs and consultant availability.
