Position Overview:
The Chief Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) is a senior executive responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy that enhances the companys visibility credibility and valuation in the capital markets. The CIRO serves as the primary liaison between the company and its shareholders institutional investors analysts and other stakeholders ensuring consistent accurate and transparent communication of the companys financial performance strategy and growth prospects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
o Develop and execute the companys investor relations strategy in alignment with corporate goalsand objectives.
o Provide strategic advice to the Global MD Group CFO and Board of Directors regarding investor sentiment market trends and shareholder expectations.
2. Investor Communicationo Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company with the investment community.o Oversee the preparation and dissemination of financial reports earnings releases investorpresentations and other related materials.o Manage quarterly earnings calls investor meetings and roadshows.
3. Stakeholder Engagemento Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors analysts and other stakeholders.o Respond to inquiries from investors and analysts promptly and accurately.o Monitor and address shareholder concerns ensuring alignment with the companys strategic goals.
4. Market Intelligence and Analysiso Monitor industry trends competitor performance and capital market developments.o Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on investor feedback and market analysis.o Track and analyze the companys stock performance and valuation metrics relative to peers.
5. Compliance and Reporting
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial disclosure and investor communications.
o Collaborate with legal finance and communications teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.o Support the companys ESG (Environmental Social Governance) initiatives and integrate them into investor communications.
6. Team Managemento Lead and mentor the investor relations team fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.o Manage external IR consultants agencies and vendors as needed.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Chartered Accountant or CFA.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 1015 years of experience in investor relations corporate finance equityresearch or related fields with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Skills:
Deep understanding of financial statements corporate strategy and capital markets.
Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
