What Youll Be Doing:
Clinical Excellence:
As Clinical Director youll spend 80 of your time on clinical work leading by example and ensuring the highest standards of care. Youll empower your team to work to their full potential creating a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. From leading clinical audits to championing evidencebased medicine youll play a key role in fostering professional growth across the team.
Building and Shaping a New Practice:
Being part of a brandnew clinic is a rare and exciting opportunity. Youll play a pivotal role in shaping the clinics identity designing workflows and implementing best practices from the start. Your vision and leadership will help establish a strong foundation for a thriving clientcentred practice.
Business Performance:
Oversee clinic strategy and operations at a local level covering HR recruitment health & safety marketing and client care.
Drive membership and client acquisition working towards ambitious targets.
Manage budget planning and financial performance understanding key KPIs and delivering on objectives.
Ensure all work is correctly priced and appropriately charged.
Leadership and Team Development:
As the figurehead of the clinic youll lead with enthusiasm and professionalism inspiring your team every step of the way. Linemanaging the Practice Director Nursing Director and veterinary team youll conduct regular onetoone meetings performance reviews and team briefings. By fostering a supportive environment youll ensure everyone feels valued and motivated.
Wellbeing and Culture:
Creating a respectful inclusive and open culture is at the heart of this role. Youll actively promote wellbeing within the team addressing concerns early and providing support when needed. By championing a positive and transparent work environment youll set the tone for a clinic where everyone thrives.
Advocacy and Community Engagement:
Youll be an ambassador for the clinic promoting its ethos and values both within the veterinary industry and in the local community. From engaging with local events like dog shows and school visits to creating a loyal client base youll play a vital role in establishing the clinic as a trusted part of the community.
