YOU
As a Tool Room Machinist you will be responsible for maintaining production tools tooling inventory modifying tools assisting operators with tooling needs operating a variety of tool room equipment including but not limited to lathes mills grinders radial drills etc.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING of Time)
Operating tool room equipment to modify and repair production tooling to support production needs. 80
Maintaining inventory of production tooling. 10
Communicating with vendors and placing inventory orders for tooling. 10
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years tool room experience primarily maintaining and servicing production dies.
- Ability to operate various tool room equipment including but not limited to lathes mills grinders radial drills. Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometers calipers dial indicators etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk see talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 812 hours regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job the employee may frequently lift carry push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with proper equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold loud noise levels vibration and moving mechanical parts.
TRAVEL
This position requires 0 domestic and international travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This fulltime nonexempt position is in Pitt Meadows BC Canada.
RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
Pay
$33 $40 / hour
